Live: Joe Echo to kill Bono at Whelan’s

Sorry for the sensationalist tabloid-style post title, I just couldn’t help myself! On 28th of April at Whelan’s, Dublin and the 29th at Spring & Airbrake, Belfast, Joe Echo will be performing songs from the Killing Bono soundtrack, as well as material from his forthcoming debut album.

The film itself comes out tomorrow (Friday) in cinemas around Ireland, and will probably cost you a tenner in, and that’s even before you buy popcorn. While the gig at the end of the month is just €11.80. Bargain. Tickets for both are on sale tomorrow at 9, although I’m not sure if any cinemas will be open then.
