In January 2011, Irish music legend Donal Dineen set up Fresh Air Fest. It’s now called Parish Records, and has released their first ever single, ‘Hi-Five 0′. It features Niwel Tsumbu on guitar, Aminah Dastan on vocals, Liam O Maonlai on vocals, harp & guitar, Stephen Mogerly on bass, Rónán O Snodaigh on the Wavedrum & Seán MacErlaine on bass clarinet. It was produced by Donal Dineen, recorded by Ross Turner at Exchequer Studios and mixed by Stephen Mogerly at Arbutus Yarns. You can download the floaty, addictive tune below, and get a feel for the atmospheric tuneage Donal Dineen and co will be bringing to your ears over the next while. Parish are also playing Body and Soul this weekend at Ballinlough Castle, Co. Meath.

(Thanks very much to Aoife Flynn for the heads up)
